Richard Emery Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary

Richard Emery is senior vice president general counsel, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary  for Centrus Energy Corp. He leads the legal, compliance, and corporate governance functions for Centrus Energy Corp.

Mr. Emery joined Centrus in 2023, managing the legal affairs of the company’s operating subsidiaries before assuming his current position in 2025.  Prior to joining Centrus, he held senior legal roles at GE’s research division and SmartSky Networks.  He began his legal career at Alston & Bird LLP following several years as a research engineer at Intel.

Mr. Emery holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
