Centrus has signed several new sales contracts in the last three months to supply its utility customers with low-enriched uranium fuel. The total value of the contracts is an estimated $70 million, with deliveries through 2025.

(NYSE MKT: LEU) today reported net income of $7.6 million or $0.73 per common share (basic) and $0.72 per common share (diluted) for the quarter ended March 31, 2017, compared to a net loss of $14.6 million or $1.60 per basic and diluted share for the first quarter of 2016. The company remains on track to meet its annual guidance for nuclear fuel segment revenue, total revenue, and year-end cash balance.
